Welcome to the Ramey Insurance Agency.  We are an Independent Agency offering a wide variety of insurance companies and products to help you with your insurance needs.  We take pride in helping our clients understand what  they are buying.  After all, we insure some of your most important assets.

All staff members who assist in your insurance needs are fully licensed with the state of Florida.  As you will see, we have come from all over the United States to Florida’s melting pot, just like our clients.  We all have a lot in common so please,  take a minute to allow us to introduce ourselves:

Terri Y. Ramey, LUTCF is the agency principal.  She is originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee and moved to Florida in 1983 where she has been a resident and raised her family.   Terri has been employed with this agency since 1990 and owned since 2002.  She has been the recipient of several production awards and enjoys providing clients with a high level of service and knowledge.

Shannon Via is an Associate Agent and the office manager.  She is originally from Rochester, New York and moved to Florida in 1982.  Shannon has spent most of her life in Venice and has raised her children here.  Shannon has been in the industry since 1992 where she has worked closely with Terri Ramey over the years.  She specializes in new sales and has won the Sarasota Magazine Five Star Home/Auto Insurance Professional Award 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 & 2013 which recognizes the top 7% insurance professionals in Sarasota County.  This is an honor that is well deserved and could only be derived from her years of service and passion for the industry.

Erica Wallace is an Associate Agent specializing in Commercial Insurance.  Erica has been with the agency since 2005.  She is from Boston, Massachusetts and has been in Venice since 1989.  Erica keeps busy raising her family and enjoys her two rescue dogs she adopted.  She writes  all lines of business insurance and has extensive knowledge of the industry.    

Mary Ann Fishman is a Licensed Customer Service Representative and is originally from Buffalo, New York. She moved here with her family from Indianapolis, Indiana and is happy to be in Florida.   She enjoys working with people and offering exceptional service and knowledge in our industry.

Christine Forlina is a Licensed Customer Service Representative.  Christine moved with her family to Florida from Pennsylvania in 2010.  She is busy raising her children and working full time.  Christine brings a high level of customer service experience.  She is an asset to Ramey Insurance and is excited to be part of a successful agency.  

Stephane Gagne is a Licensed Customer Service Representative.  Stephanie is a new addition to Ramey Insurnace in 2013. She writes and services all personal lines of insurance.  Her kind disposition, caring attitude and knowledge of the industry make her a true compliment to the agency.  

Deanna Allard is our part-time account assistant.  Deanna hails from Portland, Oregon originally but has lived in Florida for many years.  Deanna lives in Venice along with her husband, where she is very active in the tennis community.  She assists our clients in many ways and  enjoys helping them with their insurance needs.
