Terri Ramey's Profile and Contact Information

Terri was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee and moved to Venice at the beginning of 1984 after her husband accepted a job in Sarasota. She and her husband jumped into a rental car and drove south of Sarasota to find a smaller town to live in and Venice was the first stop. She never left from that point and has truly enjoyed being a part of this smaller community where she has had the honor of making lifelong relationships. She started working for a Nationwide Insurance Agency before buying out the agency and becoming a captive agent with Nationwide. She converted the agency to independent status, and has owned and operated her successful agency as Ramey Insurance since 2002. As an independent agency, Terri has access to many more markets to best accommodate her clientele.

Terri specializes in all personal and commercial lines of insurance.

Away from the office, she enjoys most outdoor activities and has enjoyed enhancing her scuba diving skills.  Terri has future plans to get more involved with Ocean and Marine Life Conservation, along with her other local commitments. She has enjoyed supporting and participating in many different community platforms and is still very active in many.

Terri has one daughter, Lauren, who was born and raised in Venice, Florida. Lauren went on to graduate from University of South Florida.  She was recruited by Target to go into their management program right out of college and is enjoying a successful career there. Lauren and her husband have three beautiful children that bring much joy to Terri’s life.

Along with a passion for insurance, Terri is passionate about animal advocacy. She and fellow staff members are proud to support the below non-profit organizations and encourage everyone to donate whenever possible.
